Blocking doesn't seem to be working

Troubleshooting Updated 1/3/2025

If blocking isn’t applying as expected, try these steps:

1) Confirm permissions

  • Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy: enabled
  • Allow FlowIn to manage app limits

2) Check active blocks

  • Is a schedule currently active?
  • Is a focus session running?
  • Are app/website categories selected correctly?

3) Confirm device time + day

  • Schedules respect your local time and weekday selection

4) Restart the device

  • iOS sometimes needs a restart after changing Screen Time settings

5) Reinstall configuration

  • In FlowIn → Settings → Repair Blocking
